About
I was born and raised in a Christian home and accepted Jesus into my heart at five years old. As I got older, I started making compromises and I eventually drifted away from the truth I had through Jesus Christ. I thought that living a worldly lifestyle would bring me happiness, popularity, and a future, but it brought me the exact opposite. I found myself in my basement alone. I was hopeless.
“In the land of Uz there lived a man whose name was Job. This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil. He had seven sons and three daughters, and he owned seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen and five hundred donkeys, and had a large number of servants. He was the greatest man among all the people of the East.” Job 1:1-4
This man had everything the world has to offer, and for whatever reason God aloud satan to strip everything away. Job lost his children, his livestock, even his health. Job had a choice to make. Life or Death. He could curse God and die or he could do this…
“At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship and said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised.” In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing.” Job 1:20-22
Job chose life. So God intervened. God gave Job more children than he had before, more livestock, and even better health. God blessed him beyond what he could’ve imagined because Job chose life.
I was hopeless in my basement until my Dad walked down the stairs and said, “Son, I love you. Jesus loves you. You have to make a choice tonight either life or death because the road you’re on will only lead to death. The things you are doing will eventually kill you.” So I chose life. I chose Jesus. And God intervened in my life. He help me get over addictions, and the party lifestyle that I was stuck in. I was no longer alone, I was no longer astray, but because I chose life down in my bedroom God said I’m going to step in.
God is ready to intervene in your life, no matter what situation you’re in. He is ready to help you out of any addiction or temptation. It doesn’t matter how deep in sin you are or how long you’ve been there. Jesus already payed for it on the cross. Through Jesus Christ, God views you as blameless, but you have to believe in your heart.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
This is truth.
